Is This The Most Overhyped Cat Video On YouTube?

by 2 mins ago

If you know anything about Karl Lagerfeld, you know that he is o-b-s-e-s-s-e-d with his cat, Choupette. She inspires him both personally and professionally—she has two Karl Lagerfeld collections modeled after her. From everything you read about her, she is a very impressive feline.

The Coveteur recently got to go to visit her room in Paris, which is, apparently, full of photos of her chilling with Karl (vain much? JK) and her Shu Uemera collaboration. The site was also given videos—straight from Karl’s iPad, natch—of Choupette doin’ her thang and, um, no offense, but she’s a regular cat…

Like, maybe it’s my fault for reading so many Karl interviews where he raves about her (hobbies are important, you guys), but I wouldn’t expect Choupette to find hiding in a box as enjoyable as other cats do? She loves chasing ribbons as much as my cat—for some reason I expected more from her.

The video does reveal, though, the white Goyard bowls she eats her pâté from and the ceramic figure (of herself!) that sits across from her as she chows down.

The Wolf Of System Of A Down: Watch This Dead-On Lip Sync

by 27 mins ago

Nothing could have made Leonardo DiCaprio’s drug-fueled character in “The Wolf of Wall Street” seem even more amped up and maniacal than he already was. Nothing, that is, until this video of him, as Jordan Belfort, lip syncing System of a Down’s “Chop Suey!

The 2001 metal anthem so perfectly fits with Leo’s rage-face — it shouldn’t work, but it does…oh, how it does:

How did anyone even think to put this together?! “The Wolf Of System Of A Down” may quickly supplant “The Wizard of Oz” and Pink Floyd as the best film/music mash-up of all time.

The Cute Is Strong In These Exclusive Marvel ‘Star Wars’ Comic Book Covers

by 10 mins ago

Marvel Comics isn’t launching their entirely new series based on the classic “Star Wars” movies until January, but we’ve got your exclusive first look at artist Skottie Young’s amazing interlocking covers for the first three issues of the series right here, right now.

Click for a larger version!

For Young, getting the chance to draw “Star Wars” was a dream come true.

“Like most people my age, I spent a good part of my childhood playing with ‘Star Wars’ toys for hours on end,” Young said via statement from Marvel. “I cried like a baby when I realized I left my wampa figure on the radiator and his leg melted half off.

“Flash forward years later and I get to be a little (pun absolutely intended) part of the ‘Star Wars’ universe by creating my take on these covers. It’s surreal. Also, I’ve shared that wampa story before and fans actually bring me wampa figures to cons. THIS IS MY LIFE!”

For those not up to speed on the new comics, they’ll be set shortly after the destruction of the first Death Star in “Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope.” All three books are being coordinated with Lucasfilm to make sure they line up with both the original films and whatever is being planned for “Episode VII,” “VIII” and beyond.

The three books, from left to right are:

- “Princess Leia #1,” kicking off a five-issue miniseries in March, 2015 by writer Mark Waid and artist Terry Dodson.

Bella Thorne Is A Mean Girl Murder Suspect In This Sneak Peek Scene From ‘CSI’

by 14 mins ago

We’ve watched Bella Thorne sing, dance, hone her comedy chops with the likes of Adam Sandler and Steve Carell, and even break down the dos and don’ts of texting, but it’s pretty safe to say that we’ve never seen the Disney starlet quite like this before. Thorne is set to play a mean girl bully slash murder suspect on next Sunday’s (October 19) episode of “CSI,” and based on this sneak peek video, we kind of think she’s guilty:

In the video, which was exclusively debuted by Yahoo, Thorne is seen tormenting her classmate for being a “tech geek.” However, that’s not even the worst part — the whole thing ends with an explosion, followed by an unfortunate teacher running down the hallway, completely engulfed in flames. Could Thorne possibly be guilty? You’ll have to wait and see!

‘Mockingjay’ Is Following The Book To The Letter: Here’s Proof

by 16 mins ago

Now that we’ve all taken a break from frantically crafting our Katniss Halloween costumes (sidebraid included, duh) to watch the latest oh-so-teasy teaser for “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1″, it’s time to talk about how very awesome it is. Because it’s pretty awesome.

Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) visits her former home in District 12 in the minute-long clip, in a scene that’s taken straight from the first page of Suzanne Collins’ book. And when we say straight from the first page, we mean it. All this teaser is missing is Katniss forcibly catnapping poor Buttercup and shoving him into her game bag.

To show you just how closely the movie seems to be sticking to the text, we pulled passages from the book, as compared to the trailer.

I stare down at my shoes, watching as a fine layer of ash settles on the worn leather. This is where the bed I shared with my sister, Prim, stood. Over there was the kitchen table. The bricks of the chimney, which collapsed in a charred heap, provide a point of reference for the rest of the house. How else could I orient myself in this sea of gray?

Almost nothing remains of District 12. A month ago, the Capitol’s firebombs obliterated the poor coal miners’ houses in the Seam, the shops in the town, even the Justice Building. The only area that escaped incineration was the Victor’s Village. I don’t know why exactly. Perhaps so anyone forced ...

Selena Gomez Reveals Her New Crush

by 20 mins ago

Is Selena Gomez over Justin Bieber? Wouldn’t you like to know.

Instead of revealing any relationship details on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” Sel did tell us who she’s currently crushing on, and apparently, it’s someone who she’s always loved: her “Rudderless” co-star Billy Crudup.

“I had a crush on him,” she said. “I went through my whole Almost Famous phase, so I was like Penny Lane for a good month. I wore the outfits and had the hair and the glasses, and then, I found out I was going to be a part of the movie [with Crudup] and it took me a minute at first, because I kind of had a little bit of a crush on him.”

So, did she tell him that?

“No! Gosh,” Selena said. Well, her “secret” is out now.

#TBT: Remember When Thursday Was Jerzday?

by 1 min ago

Tears For Fears once proclaimed, “Everybody wants to rule the world,” but on Thursday nights not long ago, eight guidos and guidettes actually followed through.

In an event as ritually significant as church on Sunday or cartoons on Saturday (well, not for this generation…), “Jersey Shore” took over MTV each week from its 2009 premiere onward, and it didn’t take long for “Jerzday” to officially become a cultural institution. Between trips to the gym, late-night runs to the neighborhood pizza joint and more than a few pilgrimages to Karma, the cast made us believe we were strolling right beside them on the Seaside Heights Boardwalk and, man, the sand felt good between our toes.

You probably remember the way “J-Shore” ended, but how clear are its first few chapters in your mind’s eye? In honor of #TBT, we’re taking a quick look back at Snooki, “The Situation” and all their friends in their earlier, party-hardy days. Walk with us down this most pleasant memory lane, and share your favorite early moment from the show in the comments!

Snooki had blue eyes:

Jenni and Sammi hated each other:

Man, time really can change anything!

Mike and Ronnie fought over the house’s “Sweetheart”:

5SOS’ Ashton Irwin Is ‘Sorry’ He ‘Let Down’ Fans With His Appendicitis

by 5 mins ago

The 5SOS Fam got some devastating news on Wednesday after the band had to cancel their upcoming trips to the U.K. and Japan due to Ashton undergoing surgery for appendicitis. Ouch.

And while Ashton seems to be on the road to recovery, he feels pretty bad that he’s “let down” some of his fans. He took to Twitter to apologize for the inconveniently timed surgery.

Of course, fans were just heartbroken that Ashton felt he needed to say he was sorry. They eagerly reminded him that he has nothing to apologize about and should focus on making a full recovery.

According to a statement from the band, Ashton is “doing great,” and is expected to be “back up & running in no time.”

Get well soon, Ash!

The One Way ‘Justice Leage’ Already Has Marvel Beat

by 8 mins ago

Warner Bros.’s massive, 10-film superhero announcement shocked people for a number of reasons.

Obviously, there’s the sheer scope and ambition of the plan. Marvel has always let movie announcements trickle out one-by-one. This was unlike anything we’ve ever seen before, not only in superhero movies.

Related: 13 Things We’re Dying To Know About DC’s Justice League Plans

But Marvel says they have a plan that extends even beyond the reaches of WB’s DC slate. Where the Justice League has the Avengers beat, however, matters a lot more than the number of sequels, spin-offs and team-ups.

When the official list dropped yesterday, Twitter users were quick to point out that the DC slate included standalone movies led by a woman (Gal Gadot), an openly queer actor (Ezra Miller), and an African American man (Ray Fisher).

The celebration in diversity also brought with it several observations that Marvel has yet to follow through on its talk about non-white and female superheroes.

To be fair to Marvel, they have only officially announced their film slate through early 2017, so it’s possible that a Captain Marvel movie could hit theaters the same year as “Wonder Woman,” or a Black Panther film years before “Cyborg.”

Either way, the announcement helped set a new standard for more representative superheroes, and hopefully, it is a sign of things to come.

“Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice” opens in theaters on March 25, 2016.

A Two-Headed Woman Sang Fiona Apple’s ‘Criminal’ On ‘American Horror Story’: Watch

by 12 mins ago

Last week’s episode of “American Horror Story: Freak Show” featured a killer cover of David Bowie’s “Life on Mars” from Jessica Lange, but the series’ second episode, “Massacres and Matinees,” took things even further — all the way to 1996, to be exact.

Sarah Paulson’s two-headed twins Bette and Dot (well, Dot, with a little bit of help from the tone-deaf Bette) took on Fiona Apple’s MTV VMA-winning song “Criminal,” and after watching their take it’s pretty safe to say that we’ll never need to hear the one-headed version of this song again:
