At the beginning of August, Remy Ma was released from prison after more than six years behind bars. She came home to some things being the same, sure, but there was also much that had changed. Twitter was unknown and Instagram hadn’t even launched when she was locked up. Drake hadn’t released So Far Gone yet, and President Obama hadn’t been sworn into office.

And not only was “Orange Is The New Black” not yet one of the most popular shows around, but the memoir that it’s based on — about a woman’s experience in prison — hadn’t yet been published.

Though there’s surely no singular prison experience, and with that, Remy’s circumstances and those of “OITNB” main character, Piper Kerman certainly had their differences, MTV News wanted to show the Bronx, New York rapper a few memorable scenes from the 12-time Emmy nominated show — both to catch her up on one of the year’s important pop culture moments, and for some insider analysis.

So, how accurate is the show? Check out Remy’s fact-checking in the video above.

Oh, and a quick shout to the producers of the series, if you’re reading this: Remy is ready for her shot on camera. “I would actually like to be on the series,” she told us. “I think it’d probably give it a more realistic feel.”

After Meredith outed Peter as The “Teen Wolf” Benefactor and explained that he’d dictated the dead pool’s many entries, Peter claimed he couldn’t be held responsible for what thoughts he imparted on the banshee while he was fever-dreaming in the hospital. But after last night’s episode, it seems his unconscious thoughts might actually be rooted in reality.

Peter, who’s already admitted to wanting True Alpha Wolf Scott McCall dead, upped the ante on his bloodlust at Beacon Hills High School’s latest lacrosse game. While perched in the stands, Peter told his daughter Malia that he’d discovered the identity of her mother — otherwise known as “The Desert Wolf” — and that he’d give her the information under one condition: that she’d kill Kate Argent. Whaaaa?

Though Peter and Kate were once avowed enemies, we’re scratching our heads at his latest scheme for a number of reasons. First, Peter already committed to helping Kate sort through her early transformations into a werecoyote, and that would be a needless act of kindness if his plan was to off her all along. Secondly, Peter and Kate are in cahoots to wipe Scott off the face of the earth, a task Kate is inching closer to completing in Mexico. So wouldn’t he need her to get the job done?

Amber Rose faces a bunch of hilarious burns on tomorrow night’s season finale of “Wild ‘N Out,” but can she keep from bursting out — literally?

In the sneak peek below , cast member DoBoy unleashes not one but two digs upon the gorgeous guest competitor during a game called “Talking Spit.” The objective: to make Amber laugh — and spit out her drink.

“Godd***, your head is bigger in person,” he begins. “I feel like I’m watching a movie in 3-D starring your head!”

The model giggles but is able to keep her composure (and hold in her water). So DoBoy decides to take an alternate route: Go after Amber’s hubby, Wiz Khalifa!

Between countless “Napoleon Complex” accusations and the agonizing search for properly-fitting pants, vertically-challenged guys of the world have it rough sometimes. But when it comes to making women happy, it’s actually tall guys who get the short end of the stick.

A recent study done by sociologists at New York University looked at the correlation between a man’s height and his relationships. Researchers used data collected from 1986 through 2011, and classified men as short (less than 5’7”) average, or tall (more than 6’4”). They found that shorter men were 32% less likely to divorce, which is a pretty impressive stat. One reason may be because shorter men were also more likely to marry later in life than taller men, meaning they made their decision as older and wiser guys.

The study also found that taller men were more likely to marry women closer to their own age, and who were better-educated. Researchers predicted that’s because taller men are able to “exchange their attractive attribute (height) for better-educated spouses, while short men are unable to do so,” the researchers wrote. Shorter guys, on the other hand, married less educated and younger women, earning a much higher income than their spouse once they did marry. Researchers concluded that may be because short guys want to assert their masculinity more and be the breadwinners of the household.

On Monday (September 1) Lifetime bravely went where no other network had gone before — well, except for The Disney Channel and NBC, that is. Basically, Lifetime decided to go crazy and air “The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story” based on the 2009 book “Behind the Bell” by Dustin Diamond (Screech).

However, they left out 99 percent of the “interesting” (read: actually horrible) details of that book — the details that chronicle the real-life hookups between Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Tiffani-Amber Thiessen, Mario Lopez, Lark Voorhees and Elizabeth Berkley.

Instead, they gave us the fluff version of the “Saved” tale, but that doesn’t mean there weren’t some bananagrams insane moments. In fact, we were treated to a potentially imaginary friend storyline, an Elizabeth Berkley as TV-genius/critic plot line, and the most fantastically bizarre hot tub fantasy sequence in recent TV history.

There were many cray-cray moments to choose from, but below find the 11 that are still blowing our minds this beautiful Bayside morning:

1. When they told us that Dustin Diamond could control time.

This was Zack Attack’s skill on the show, but IRL — at least according to the movie — it was all about Screech when it came to the “time outs.”

… But she totally dissed ...

The FBI announced Monday (September 1) that it will be stepping in to investigate a massive leak of private celebrity photos, including snaps of Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Upton.

The AP reports that the FBI is, “aware of the allegations concerning computer intrusions and the unlawful release of material involving high-profile individuals, and is addressing the matter,” the bureau said, and quotes spokeswoman Laura Eimiller as saying, “Any further comment would be inappropriate at this time.”

Apple spokeswoman Natalie Kerris also weighed in — as reports state that hackers stole the photos via iCloud — saying that the company is looking into the possible hack.

If caught, the person — or people — behind the stolen photos could face hefty prison time, if past cases are any precedent. In 2012, Christopher Chaney was sentenced to 10 years in prison for allegedly breaking into the personal online accounts of Scarlett Johansson and Christina Aguilera and leaking private photos to the Web, in addition to other offenses.

The photos were released Sunday via 4Chan, a user purporting them to be the property of Upton, Lawrence, Victoria Justice, actress Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Ariana Grande and Kirsten Dunst, among other celebs.

Lawrence’s reps responded to the leak this past weekend, telling The Hollywood Reporter: “This is a flagrant violation of privacy… The authorities have been contacted and will prosecute anyone who posts the stolen photos of Jennifer Lawrence.”

Much like its hero, Jack Bauer, the long-awaited movie based on TV’s “24” just cannot be killed.

The latest glimmer of hope for fans who long to see their beloved show make the jump to the big screen: a report from TV Line, citing anonymous sources at Imagine Entertainment, that the idea is being kicked around anew. TV Line speculates that the studio may be eager to cash in on the wave of interest spurred by the series’ return to television this summer, when “24: Live Another Day” was received enthusiastically by fans and critics alike.

If the plans for a movie pan out, it’ll be to the great delight of all involved — especially star Kiefer Sutherland, who’s been stoked to play Jack Bauer in a feature film since back in 2006.

On the other hand, Sutherland has dialed down his confidence from “We’re totally making a movie!” to “A movie is always a possibility” in recent years, possibly because he’s afraid to get his hopes up again only to have them dashed. We know the feeling. In the meantime, let’s all cross our fingers and make tiny, cautious noises of excitement over the possibility that a “24″ movie is maybe, possibly, finally happening.

Nicole Polizzi‘s son Lorenzo and Jenni Farley‘s daughter Meilani were destined to be best buddies — or if you ask JWOWW, perhaps even husband and wife someday — and they’re already off to a good start.

The little ones just had their first play date and, soon after, their “Snooki & JWOWW” star moms shared some aww-worthy photos from the event. Sure, Lorenzo and Meilani aren’t quite ready to live it up at Karma like their “Jersey” mamas did back in the day, but they sure appeared to be having a grand ol’ dance-free time nonetheless.
