The Pizza Onesie Gang Has A New Member

by 30 mins ago

If you love pizza and Katy Perry as much as we do, you’re probably well aware that she’s been giving a lot of love to her pepperoni pizza onesie. Well, it looks like there’s a new pizza gang member. Any guesses?

Cara DelevingneGetty Images

It’s Cara Delevingne—#1 onesie fan in the world. And unlike Katy, who has worn hers both zipped and unzipped, Cara is all about using her pepperoni piece for disguise. She may have gone unnoticed, but her two Mulberry bags kiiiinda give it away. Seriously—does anyone else in the world wear onesies and have a collaboration with the bag brand? I don’t think so.

So, like, is this a pizza gang? Can we join? Is this the official uniform? We are not opposed. Not at all.

‘Sad Full House’ Will Ruin Your Childhood

by 5 mins ago

In the cobwebbed attic of my ever-fading mind, “Full House” is a pleasant, semi-corny memory only really marred by that time I saw Uncle Jesse’s butt when he starred in “Cabaret” on Broadway when I was 16 (so many warring emotions…).

Oh, and then there was that weird yogurt reunion. That was also a little scarring.

Well, my — and your — recollection of the show is about to get a lot darker. Introducing, “Sad Full House” — which is basically a bunch of “learning moments” extracted from the sitcom and examined starkly in the harsh light of day. The creator, Benjamin Apple, is clearly an evil genius.

Yup, this little Web series basically takes this…

Frank Ocean Raises Questions In The Aftermath Of Mike Brown’s Shooting

by 38 mins ago

After artists like J. Cole and Childish Gambino weighed in on the recent events in Ferguson, Missouri, following the death of Mike Brown, Frank Ocean is speaking up in the conversation.

In a tumblr post, the singer included an image with a lengthy caption. The photo showed Highway Patrol captain Ron Johnson standing at a podium during a Thursday press conference, with the state’s governor, Jay Nixon, behind him, as well as a young black female and an older black male.

The Odd Future member questioned the sincerity of what he saw.

Highway Patrol Captain Johnson speaks, as Missouri Governor Nixon watches, during a news conference at University of Missouri-St. Louis in St. Louis

You see that black woman standing up there? I wonder if she was called to stand behind the governor because she’s black. I wonder if i’m supposed to think Missouri’s gov’t is pro-black because of her being stood up there with those other black men being all black and everything. I wonder if she was off the clock while she stood up there. If she was off the clock..then i wonder if she was getting paid for her time off like the guy who shot Michael 8 times. What’s that guy’s name by the way?

Early on Friday (August 15), the police identified Brown’s ...

Watch Kelli Berglund Build The Perfect Boy Out Of Disney Stars

by 10 mins ago

In the Disney Channel Original Movie “How To Build A Better Boy,” Kelli Berglund has the opportunity to build the perfect cyborg boyfriend — which is something that, to be perfectly honest, we’ve all probably wanted to do once or twice during wedding/prom/general life season. It’s hard out there, you know?

However, though her character in the film has a hard time with the local male population at her high school, Berglund — who also stars on Disney’s “Lab Rats” — knows a lot of really cool, hunky famous dudes in real life. So we at MTV News thought it would be fun to piece together Berglund’s favorite parts of these dudes to build a better boy, Disney style.

“His humor, I would say,” Berglund said of her “Rats” costar Billy Unger. “I don’t know! This is so difficult. He’s like my best friend. I would say his humor. And he’s a very loyal person, so I would say his loyalty, and his talent.”

Find out what Berglund pieced together from more stars, including Ryan Ochoa and Zac Efron, in the video — and be sure to catch “Build a Better Boy” on the Disney Channel on August 15 at 8 p.m.!

Exclusive: Marvel Sends The ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ To ‘Planet Venom’

by 12 mins ago

In November, Marvel Comics is taking readers to a corner of the universe they’ve never been to before: the planet Spider-Man’s evil symbiotes come from, as “Guardians of the Galaxy #21″ kicks off a three-issue arc called “Planet Venom.”

Written by Brian Michael Bendis, with art by Marvel “Young Gun” Valerio Schiti, the arc sends the guy currently wearing Spider-Man’s evil black and white alter ego Venom back to his suit’s home planet, teamed up with the currently-in-theaters “Guardians of the Galaxy.” And while Venom also has his own movie in the works at Sony, this is the sort of storyline that could only happen in the comics. Probably.

“At least for now, the legality of copyright and trademark would make certain storylines impossible in the movies,” Bendis told MTV News about the storyline over the phone. “I like doing it for the comics!”

When we join with the team of Guardians, they’ve been shattered by their recent abduction and torture by enemies, as well as horrifying revelations from their past. And recent addition Agent Venom – also known as Spider-Man’s biggest fan, Flash Thompson – has also been separated from the group, with multiple teases that there’s something very, very wrong with his symbiote.

Point being, they’re not in the best shape to head to a planet full of carnivorous aliens.

How and why the team ends up at the home planet of the symbiotes is something Bendis is keeping quiet at the moment. But he wasn’t shy about sharing his ...

Ariana Grande Says The Most Terrifyingly Awesome Things In Her Billboard Interview

by 8 mins ago

Lest you think that Ariana Grande was all sunshine and cupcake dresses since birth, she actually had a pretty heavy #dark streak growing up. As a recovering ninth-grade goth (Eyeliner? Check. Dyed black hair? Check. Siouxsie And The Banshees poster over my bed? Check. Fingerless fishnet gloves? To be honest, check.), this pleases me.

Last night, Billboard released a sneak peek at their upcoming cover story on the “Break Free” singer. And while I loved learning about Ariana’s varied pop-cultural points of reference — ranging from Connie Francis and India.Arie to Marlene Dietrich and Madonna — I couldn’t help but obsess over the slightly morbid gothic flawlessness emanating from many of her quotes. Here are a few of my faves.

1.) Ariana describes herself as “a very weird little girl.”

2.) “I was like a mini-Helena Bonham Carter.”

3.) “I always wanted to have face paint on or be wearing a Freddy Krueger mask…”

4.) “…and I would carry a hockey stick around.”

5.) “For my fifth birthday party we had a ‘Jaws’ theme…”

6.) “…and all my friends left crying.”

Do you think she’ll bring any of that dark energy to her VMA performance?

I can’t wait to find out.

T.I. Awards Young Thug ‘Line Of The Century’ For ‘About The Money’ Lyric

by 22 mins ago

Unless you’re extremely proficient in Young Thug speak, you might be like me — replaying a track several times in an effort to understand exactly WTF he’s saying. His feature on T.I.’s hit “About the Money” was easier to understand than usual, but apparently Tip digested it all on the first take. And, he thinks that “bustin’ out the bando” might be the “line of the century.”

“You know what? That particular verse — and maybe it was because I was in the studio with him — is probably the only one I’ve heard from [Young Thug] that immediately I knew what he was saying,” T.I. told MTV News. “Just that particular verse.”

He joked that maybe some of us from up North might have a harder time understanding the subtleties of Thugga’s dialect, but all of that aside, he’s pretty sure that the Atlanta rapper had one of the most prized lines ever, on “About the Money.”

“Bustin’ out the bando — hey man, I think that’s the line of the century,” Tip said.

And, who are we to argue?

Tip also revealed that the next official single from his Paperwork album will be the title track, featuring Pharrell, although “Stay” leaked prematurely.

“We have definitely decide on ‘Paperwork’ featuring Pharrell [because it] pretty much sums up the tone of the album,” he said. “The cinematic presence of it all. When you listen to the album, top to bottom, it kinda sounds like the score to ...

Who Invented The Ice Bucket Challenge?

by 23 mins ago

By now you’ve sure seen one, or dozens of the videos of celebrities taking the “Strike out ALS Ice Bucket Challenge for Lou Gehrig’s Disease.”

It’s a bracing, funny, clever and, so far, very effective means of raising money to combat ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), often referred to as “Lou Gehrig’s Disease,” which is defined as a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. The disease causes the degeneration of the motor neurons that go from the brain to the spinal cord and to the muscles throughout the body, eventually causing loss of muscle control, paralysis and death.

Ice bucket

Fifteen new cases of the disease are diagnosed in the U.S. every day and the Ice Bucket Challenge — in which the dunkee pours a bucket of ice water on their head and then challenges others to do the same within 24 hours or make a donation to fight ALS, or both — has shined a light on the disease that currently has no cure.

But whose idea was it? Well, according to the Los Angeles Times, it was the brainchild of 29-year-old ALS patient Peter Frates. The former captain of the Boston College baseball team drew inspiration from one of that club’s post-game rituals and challenged some local athletes on Twitter to get iced. The first reported challenge took place on July 15 and, once the Beverly, Massachusetts, Frates, his family and friends started challenging each ...

Eminem Gives Us An Extended Preview Of His New Song

by 32 mins ago

A new Eminem song? Featuring Sia? Yeah, sure, we’ll take it.

We’ll have to wait until August 25 for the whole thing, but on Friday (August 15), Slim Shady shared an extended preview of “Guts Over Fear,” which will be featured in the new Denzel Washington film, The Equalizer, which arrives in theaters on September 26.

This is our second taste of the new track, with the first coming in the official trailer for the film. That version (which you can hear below), delivered a lengthier dose of Sia’s vocals, as she belted out the song’s title for what sounds to be the chorus — but we only got six words from Em: “It’s too late to start over.”

This time around, the Detroit MC’s fiery flow is on display: “Everything you’re scared to say, don’t be afraid to say no more,” he raps to start, before packing in plenty of punches for the next few lines, before the preview comes to a close.

This is gonna be a long ten days.
