Scream Forever After Seeing Justin Long Being Turned Into A Human Walrus For ‘Tusk

by 06/03/14

You guys, this is no “Chasing Amy.” Kevin Smith is not messing around.

The director, best known for his earlier comedies, is in post-production on the horror movie “Tusk,” and shared the first look at it in honor of star Justin Long‘s birthday yesterday. And guess what? It’s SO gross.

Happy bloody Birthday to the bravest actor I've ever worked with: Mr. TUSK himself, JUSTIN LONG! #WalrusYes

Ahhhhhh! So gross, right? So gross!

Long plays Wallace Bryton, a podcast host who interviews a boat-loving dude (Michael Parks) then goes mysteriously missing. As it turns out, where he’s been all this time is, uh, being turned into a human walrus. (“Tusk,” get it?) So that would explain the missing teeth (gotta make room for those pesky tusks somehow), all the blood, and the fact that his arms are sewn to the sides of his body. One more time: So gross!

And yet, we can’t look away.

Thanks, Kevin Smith. Remember how nice Justin Long was when he was super busy falling in love with Drew Barrymore in “Going the Distance” or being Ari Graynor’s sassy best friend in “For A Good Time Call”? Remember that? That’s over. Walrus arms are what we do now.

“Tusk” does not yet have a release date.

Jonah Hill Calls His Homophobic Slur Against Photographer ‘Disgusting’

by 06/03/14

Jonah Hill says there’s no excuse for what he said to an annoying paparazzo over the weekend.

“What I said in that moment was disgusting,” the two-time Oscar nominee told Howard Stern on the radio legend’s SiriusXM satellite radio show Tuesday morning (June 3).

Knowing Stern was going to ask about the video that broke on Monday night in which Hill yells “Suck my d—, you f—–!” at a photographer who had reportedly been baiting the “Wolf of Wall Street” actor about his outfit and family, Jonah offered no apologies for losing his cool and uttering the slur.

“This is a heartbreaking situation for me,” said Hill, who Stern described as being visibly angry when the incident was brought up. “Anger’s not the right word at all. I’m upset. Because from the day I was born, and publicly, I’ve been a gay rights activist.”

Saying there was no excuse for what he said in the 40-second clip posted by TMZ, Hill explained the photographer had been following him around all day and saying “hurtful things about my family” and “really hurtful things about me personally.”

“I played into exactly what he wanted and lost my cool,” said Hill. “In that moment, I said a disgusting word that does not at all reflect how I feel about any people.”

Hill said he grew up with gay family members and was leaving to stand up at a close friend’s gay wedding after the Stern interview, but would not use those facts as an explanation for what happened.

Mariah Carey Wore A Floor-Length Gown And High Heels To The Park With ‘Dem Babies’

by 06/03/14

Whether she’s visiting the park or riding the subway, Mariah Carey is always dressed to impress.

The Elusive Chanteuse was out and about enjoying the beautiful New York City weather on Monday with her 3-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, at a local playground.

The singer shared a photo of her pushing “dem babies” on a swing, and while we’re totally obsessed with the twins’ cuteness, we couldn’t help but stare at Mariah’s choice of attire for the playground outing. Mimi is wearing a white, floor-length fishtail gown, but unfortunately with her high heels on, she found herself “sinking into the rubber mats…lol.”

Sinking into the rubber mats...lol

Roc and Roe were dressed a bit more conservatively then their mom, with Ms. Monroe rocking some pigtails, sunglasses and an adorable sundress, while Roc had on a button-down polo and shorts.

Ms. Monroe.. She living! "Ahhhhhhh!"

Mariah also managed to make some “new friends” at the park, posing with fellow moms — who were not wearing gowns — and their kids, also enjoying a day out at the playground.

Mariah’s glamorous playground outing comes less than a week after she rode the New York City subway wearing a glittery blue gown.

7 Times Shailene Woodley Was Flawless On The ‘Fault In Our Stars’ Red Carpet

by 06/03/14

Shailene Woodley may prefer wearing down-to-earth, comfy clothes (or nothing at all, if she’s soaking up some Vitamin D), but man oh man does she clean up well.

Woodley absolutely killed it at the “Fault In Our Stars” premiere at the Ziegfield Theater in New York City on Monday (June 2), opting for a bright yellow Ralph Lauren gown that showed off her slim physique, but also made a serious statement — Woodley is not afraid to stand out from the crowd. You do you, girl.

Jon Hamm Comforting Amy Poehler Is The Most Adorable Story You’ll Read All Day

by 06/03/14

Because Amy Poehler is a glorious queen of comedy and incapable of doing anything that isn’t amazing, we’ve all been waiting so anxiously for news of her upcoming book, “Yes Please.” And at BookCon, the actress finally spoke at a panel about what we can expect from her first foray into publishing.

Per a report from Vulture, this is what’s in store for Amy’s readers: funny observations about social media, a very small peek into her divorce from Will Arnett, and, possibly, the best story ever told about the comforts of having Jon Hamm nearby when you’re pregnant and crying hysterically.

The story: On the eve of Jon Hamm’s “Saturday Night Live” hosting gig — and the day before her baby was due — a very pregnant Amy Poehler called in to her OBGYN’s office from the SNL set and learned that her doctor had died. Unsurprisingly, she didn’t take the news well:

“So it’s my first kid, I’m in a Mad Men outfit, I turn to everybody and I hysterically start crying, and a really pregnant woman crying is terrifying,” Poehler said. “So, juicy tears just like squirting out of my eyes. And it was like the punch line to a joke, it’s like, my doctor just died and I’m due tomorrow. And Jon Hamm, who I am just getting to know, comes over and puts his hands on my shoulder and is like, ‘This is a really important show for me. I’m gonna need you to get your s–t together.’ ...

‘Teen Wolf’ Star Holland Roden May Not Want You To See This Photo

by 06/03/14 HollandAsleepIan Bohen's Instagram

Straight-A student Lydia Martin is no stranger to pulling all-nighters (maintaining a 4.0 GPA is no easy feat), and it looks like the actress behind the “Teen Wolf” character is working just as hard to perfect her art. While studying her script during the show’s fourth season of filming, Holland Roden got a visit from The Sandman (let’s hope he doesn’t manifest as Beacon Hills’ next villain), and co-star Ian Bohen made sure she wouldn’t soon forget her little snooze-fest.

“@hollandroden working hard learning her lines,” Ian captioned an Instagram photo he posted yesterday; in it, the Beacon Hills beauty is catching Zs while hunched over a desk. Holland’s hard work certainly isn’t unnoticed — her performance as “Teen Wolf”‘s lone banshee during Season 3 was stellar. But we hope she’s not burning herself out and still in need of naps: As Jillian Rose Reed of “Awkward” can attest to, your co-workers will catch you every…singletime.

Surprised to see Holland taking a quick trip to dreamland? Feel free to suggest your caffeinated beverage of choice, and hang tight for the Season 4 premiere of “Teen Wolf” Monday, June 23 at 10/9c!

Gucci Mane Preps World War 3D Albums With Young Thug And Migos

by 06/03/14

Jail can’t hold Gucci Mane back. Last week the Atlanta rapper dropped his new Brick Factory Vol. 1 mixtape from behind bars, and now he’s got big label news.

Gucci has announced plans to release a triple project titled World War 3D, which will feature separate releases from Young Thug (The Purple Album), Migos (The Green Album) and PeeWee Longway (The White Album).

The triple release is set to arrive on June 17. After that, expect more music from Gucci. Trap House 4 and Trap God 3 will drop on July 4 and September 13.

The team has been busy while Gucci’s locked away, facing a potential 20-year sentence for weapons possession.

Young Thug made an appearance at Summer Jam on Sunday night with Nicki Minaj, while his video for “Stoner” is currently in heavy circulation. Migos, on the other hand, are extending their reach right now. The trio was recently featured on Justin Bieber’s single “Looking For You,” which some fans saw as a big look.

Millennium Falcon First Look In ‘Star Wars: Episode VII’ Is Worth Getting Excited About

by 06/03/14

For the second day in a row, TMZ has posted pictures from the set of “Star Wars: Episode VII” that were presumably taken by somebody who is no longer employed. The gossip site provided another look at everyone’s favorite “Episode VII” character, Space Pig.

Oh, and an under-construction Millennium Falcon.

Even more than the roundtable photo or the shots from Tatooine, this feels like the most concrete proof yet that — yes — there’s going to be a new “Star Wars” movie that continues the story from the original trilogy.

And that’s something worth getting excited about.

Even in light of cool news stories like Lupita Nyong’o joining the cast and practical creatures, there’s been a hesitance to look forward to “Episode VII,” and I really can’t blame the skeptics. We’re “Star Wars” fans. We’ve been here before, and we’ve been let down.

This is different, though, and I don’t think that I’m falling for the old “Star Wars” trick when I say that.

Audiences haven’t seen the Millennium Falcon (non-LEGO) fly since 1983. How could you not look forward to that? And it will be piloted by Han Solo and Chewbacca. Nothing could dissuade me from wanting to see that.

I’m not saying that because there’s Space Pig and a scale model of the Millennium Falcon that “Episode VII” will be a great movie that rights the wrongs of “Star Wars” past. No one can say one way or another whether this will be a good movie at all, but ...

Simon Cowell Defends Zayne And Louis After Joint-Smoking Video

by 06/03/14

One Direction‘s Liam Payne has already sort of broken his silence about the weed-smoking video that has surfaced of Zayne Malik and Louis Tomlinson toking up in a car in Peru. Now, the boys’ mentor, Simon Cowell, has weighed in on the (alleged) joint seen round-the-world and he says it’s time to cut the guys some slack.

In an interview with Digital Spy Cowell said 1D are super dedicated to their jobs and that they love their fans as much as ever.

“What I can say is that they’re the hardest-working boys I’ve ever worked with,” said Cowell. “They still haven’t changed. They’re really respectful of their fans [and] they’re a great British export… they’ve been a joy to work with. I’ve worked with a lot of artists in the past who do lose the plot, who do lose respect for their fans, they’ve never done that.”

Cowell wouldn’t respond directly when asked what advice, if any, he’s given 1D, saying it’s a “private matter,” but that he’s “on the phone all the time” with his artists. Payne was more specific in his apology, tweeting last week that, “We all have a lot of growing up to do in an extreme circumstance. I’m not making excuse but it’s face we are gunna fall short somewhere.”
