‘The Walking Dead’: Predictions For Tonight’s Episode ‘Still’

"The Walking Dead" always dishes out heavy doses of death. Tonight, it'll dish out heavy doses of Deth.

By "Deth," we mean Daryl and Beth, the cutest couple currently kicking around the zombie apocalypse. The groundwork is there for the reformed bad boy and the grieving daughter of Headless Hershel to step outside the "Friend Zone" and become something more — but will we see those romantic wheels in motion on Sunday's (March 2) episode, titled "Still"?

Here are our predictions for what will happen tonight:

1. Daryl and Beth will take center stage. That's a pretty easy conclusion to arrive at, given what we've seen from previews of tonight's episode. Daryl and Beth have only appeared in one episode since "Walking Dead" returned from its hiatus, and even then, they were only around for about 10 minutes. It's time to let everyone's favorite Cross-Bro take a more central role in the apocalyptic shenanigans.

But what are Daryl and Beth in store for this week? Can we expect to see the two grow even closer in the thick of all the action? As I said, the groundwork is there: The two shared an oddly tender moment in the season premiere, when Daryl informed Beth that her boyfriend Zach was killed during a supply run. As far as they know, Daryl and Beth are the only survivors of the prison raid — the only two people left alive in the world, as far as they're concerned. Plus, he's hot, and she's hot. It's a perfect recipe for sexy times.

Even if Daryl and Beth ...

Oscars Debate: Does Jennifer Lawrence Deserve To Repeat?

Of all the major categories set for Sunday night's 86th Academy Awards, the race for Best Supporting Actress might be the toughest to call right now. Newcomer Lupita Nyong'o from "12 Years a Slave" and last year's Best Actress winner Jennifer Lawrence in "American Hustle" have gone back and forth as favorites throughout awards season, and neither has emerged as the clear favorite for the Oscar.

Both camps of supporters are fervent in their support, so before the start of the big night, we decided to have one last debate to see if this could be settled ahead of time and before anyone's feels got hurt. Who deserves the Oscar? It's time for a good old-fashioned awards debate!

Kevin: This isn't going to be easy, but it's something we need to talk about before Sunday. Jennifer Lawrence shouldn't win for Best Supporting Actress this year. Now before you say anything, you need to know that like any red-blooded American, I love JLaw and think she absolutely deserved to win last year. But that's the thing. She already got an Oscar for her performance in "American Hustle." They gave it to her last year for a movie called "Silver Linings Playbook." Her part in "American Hustle" hit a lot of the same notes as Tiffany but took away a lot of the depth. Lawrence is going to have a long career filled with Oscar nominations. Shouldn't we wait until she kills it in a role that doesn't feel so similar to honor her again?

Taylor Swift’s New Bestie Is An Oscar Legend And 16 Other Things We Learned This Weekend

Over the weekend, there were a whole host of lavish parties and smaller awards ceremonies, which allowed for almost all of the nominated stars and creatives to strut their stuff one last time before the big Oscars show.

But you didn't have to be a nominee to get in on the action, which is why Taylor Swift made a new friend on Saturday night. She wasn't the only one. With the Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday and the Oscars only hours away, almost every big movie studio worth its salt have been having one last round of lavish parties, with all of the stars in attendance(since they're already in town).

Of course, when unreasonably attractive movie stars amass at a handful of centralized locations, there are usually photographers present. With that in mind, we wanted to run down TK of the very best photos from these pre-Oscar parties, awards shows, and soirées.

1. At a Weinstein Company pre-Oscar party, Meryl Streep hung out with Taylor Swift. Also Jaime King was there.

2. We love this photo, mostly for Lupita's amazing pop art dress and Brad Pitt's weird hair. Also: Angelina is quite attractive, no?

3. Upside: handsome nominee Michael Fassbender attended the Fox Searchlight pre-Oscar party with his "12 Years a Slave" director Steve McQueen. Downside: his facial hair uncomfortably reminds us of his a-hole character from the movie.

4. "Nebraska" star Will Forte and Rosario Dawson, whose role in "Trance" was one of last year's most talked about (just look it up), ...

Oscars 2014: Your Fan Voted Favorites Revealed

In just a few hours the winners of the 2014 Oscars will be announced... But who cares what the Academy thinks, when we have your fan voted winners right now? Over the past few days we asked you to vote for your favorites in our reader polls... And now the winners stand revealed.

See how well your picks stand up to the real winners when the Oscars are announced later tonight:

Best Animated Feature Film: "
With nearly 76% of the vote, this one wasn't even close. And we agreed, choosing the Disney blockbuster for both who should win and who will win.

Best Adapted Screenplay: "12 Years A Slave"
Steve McQueen's divisive feature managed to get nearly double the votes of "Wolf of Wall Street." Though we were pulling for "Before Midnight" in this category, we agree that "12 Years" will take home the gold when all is said and done.

Best Original Screenplay: "American Hustle"
Your votes broke down like our predictions: "American Hustle" for the win, but "Her" coming up a mere 10% behind in the fan vote. Will Spike Jonze's scifi romance eke out a surprise win IRL?

Best Director: Alfonso Cuarón, "
Another close race, this time between David O. Russel for "American Hustle" and Alfonso Cuarón for "Gravity." But Cuarón pulled out the win, and unless there's a major upset he'll do the same at the Oscars.

Best Supporting Actress: Jennifer Lawrence, "American Hustle"
Lawrence dominated this category. And though our heart put the win with Lupita Nyong'o for "12 Years ...

"American Hustle"
Nominations (10): Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Directing, Costume Design, Film Editing, Production Design, Original Screenplay
"While 'American Hustle' disappoints from a story standpoint and fails its perceived status as a worthwhile Oscar contender, it still satisfies on the strength of its wholly entertaining cast of characters and visually appealing look and feel. It may not leave much of a mark upon first blush, but its bold highlights seem engineered to ensure decades of fans yelling out about "science ovens" and hoping that someone will recognize such brilliance." — Full Review

"Captain Phillips"
Nominations (6): Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor, Film Editing, Sound Editing, Sound Mixing, Adapted Screenplay
"'Captain Phillips' is a film so tense that it makes 'Gravity' feel like a foot massage ... many viewers will be moved to tears as the centrifugal force of the narrative finally tapers during the end credits, the accumulated ...

Razzies Biggest Loser: ‘Movie 43’ Is The Worst Film Of The Year

While this weekend's biggest awards show is obviously the Oscars, there's another award ceremony that is often just as contentious (and usually way more fun): the Razzies, which have "honored," for the past 34 years, the very worst cinema has to offer.

Amazingly, Adam Sandler's "Grown Ups 2" didn't take home the top prize. Instead, that honor went to "Movie 43," a movie that was a collection of astoundingly unfunny sketches featuring some surprisingly huge names (Kate Winslet, what did they blackmail you with?). Other winners were somewhat more predictable.

In addition to Worst Picture, the Razzies handed "Movie 43" the Worst Director (which will have to be divided amongst the 13 people credited with having a hand in that monstrosity) and Worst Screenplay awards (again: 19 credited writers will have to divvy up the award).

The other big Razzie winner turned out to be "After Earth," the dull-as-dishwater space movie starring Will Smith and Jaden Smith. Will was named Worst Supporting Actor, while Jaden nabbed the Worst Lead Actor award. The pair, described as hopelessly being "stranded on Planet Nepotism," were also granted the award for Worst Screen Combo. Unsurprisingly, they didn't show up to pick up their awards.

Tyler Perry, whose drag persona, Madea, has become the cinematic equivalent of nails on a chalkboard, won Worst Actress for the 8th time (!), while Kim Kardashian, in another Tyler Perry joint ("Temptation"), was bestowed with the Worst Supporting Actress award. Kanye is not going to be happy.

Since we all know the biggest targets are also the easiest, Disney's $250 million adventure "The ...

Oscars 2014 Predictions: Best Director

In the Oscars battle for Best Director, there are no bad choices.

David O. Russell clearly ushered an ensemble unlike any other for "American Hustle," given the near sweep of acting nominations from the film.

Alexander Payne once again nails small town America in "Nebraska," bringing great dramatic performances from normally comedic actors.

Steve McQueen managed to present a horrific subject with an unflinching eye in "12 Years a Slave."

And Martin Scorsese was back to his old rabble rousing tricks in "The Wolf of Wall Street."

...But only one man will bring home the gold:

Best Director
Who Will Win: Alfonso Cuarón
"MTV's movie of the year, and with only one exception every major award has followed suit. This is Cuarón's to lose.

Oscars 2014 Prediction: Best Director

Who Should Win: Alfonso Cuarón
Then there's the human element. In a year where we saw Sandra Bullock goof around with Melissa McCarthy in "The Heat," we also saw Bullock alone on screen for nearly the entire running time of "Gravity" and could not believe her human, lived in performance. Cuarón is a director who, in the midst of striking technical achievements never forgets the human element. He's got this locked up.
