1. Pharrell And His Hat Spread Love

2. Katy Perry Gets Cute With John Mayer

Even though Katy Perry, who swapped her musical Valentino dress for a blue gown, may have gone home empty-handed at the Grammys, but she was still in good spirits as she shared an adorable moment with boyfriend John Mayer at the Sony Music Entertainment official afterparty.

Zendaya Makes The Choker Cool Again In ‘My Baby’: Watch Now

Zendaya is bringing the '90s back in her brand-new video for "My Baby," rocking everything from an Oakland Raiders Varsity jacket to chokers — oh, and multi-colored lipsticks, too.

While Zendaya let her killer dance moves rule her video for "Replay," this time the singer is a bit more relaxed, letting her hip-hop swagger speak for itself as she bounces to the beat. In fact, it's kind of hard not to notice that Zendaya is channeling her idol, 90's R&B star, Aaliyah, in the video.

Not enough 90's references for you? Well, rapper Too $hort makes a cameo in the clip, serving her hype man and introducing the visual, which also includes an appearance from Christina Milian.

"My Baby" is the latest single off her self-titled debut album, which dropped in September 2013. In the months prior to the release, the singer opened up about embracing both pop and hip-hop in her music.

"I'm kind of creating my own music and I'm kind of creating my own zone, my own lane as an artist. I want to do rhythmic pop," Coleman told MTV News last year. "It's not necessarily your average pop song. It has some kind of urban edge, some kind of more hip-hop-ish tones to it that kind of edge it up and do something a little different so it's not just your stereotypical pop music."

The Grammys, By The Numbers: How Many Lordes Does It Take To Make A Willie?

There were lots of numbers in Sunday night's Grammy telecast ... some of which were of the musical variety.

The rest, well, they were everything in between. You know, the stuff that makes the Grammys what they are, for better or worse. Here's a breakdown of some of Sunday night's most telling statistics. And, no, we can't believe Lorde is only 17 either.

» Total running time of Recording Academy president Neil Portnow's speech:
It only felt twice as long.

» Total length of LL Cool J's opening monologue:
Surprisingly, only a third of this was lip licking.

» Average length of each performance:

» Total length of the night's "In Memoriam" segment:

» Total time the winners spent walking to the stage:
The Grammys have nothing on the Golden Globes.

» Total length of the night's acceptance speeches:
Kinda makes you wonder why Grammy producers were so quick to play people off, doesn't it?

What’s Next For Pharrell’s Hat?

Every awards show has its breakout star, and the Grammys were no different: Pharrell's Hat is going places. But where, exactly, might we see the chapeau turn up next?

Dating Anna Kendrick

It sure looked to us like Pharrell's hat was getting pretty cozy with "Pitch Perfect" star Anna Kendrick last night. Word on the street is that Hat-drick is the next big superstar couple.

Hang-gliding in Tahiti

After such a big night, it stands to reason that Pharrell's hat would take a well-deserved vacation. But hey, just because you're a relaxing hat doesn't mean you can't have some thrill-based fun.

The Oscars

Fingers crossed Pharrell's hat can take home the gold at the Oscars, too.

Working On

Word is Pharrell's hat is hiting the studio with Hans Zimmer, Johnny Marr, Michael Einzinger, and David A. Stewart to record music for the superhero sequel. Will it do whatever a bonnet can?

Starting Its Own Clothing Line

Billionaire Hats Club, anyone?

Guest Starring In "Star Trek 3"

Pharrell's hat — like its owner — is a huge fan of "Star Trek." Could it show up in the space-based sequel as a member of the crew of the Enterprise?

Brokering World Peace

Before too long, Pharrell's hat will head to war-torn areas, brokering peace treaties between combative nations.

Where do you think Pharrell's hat should turn up next? Download the .PNG file below to create your own Pharell Hat Cameos! Tweet them to @MTVNews with the hashtag #PharrellsHat and we'll retweet our favorites.

6 Ways Kendrick Lamar Could’ve Topped His Performance

Kendrick Lamar's performance with Imagine Dragons is already being declared the best performance of the Grammys, and it's difficult to disagree. The energy was high, Taylor Swift was dancing and, well, TAYLOR SWIFT WAS DANCING.

Macklemore Tells Kendrick Lamar 'I Robbed You'

But there are several ways in which Kendrick's Imagine Dragons performance could've been topped. How, you may ask? Well, here you go:

Do his 'Control' verse by calling out his competition in every category he was nominated in: "Daft Punk, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Sara Bareilles / I got love for you all but I'm trying to murder you n---as." The world would've stopped, GIFs would've been made of every person Kendrick called out (and even the ones he didn't), and Kendrick would go down in history along with Ol' Dirty Bastard, Michael Portnoy and others for truly not caring.

Go on a Kanye-inspired rant about losing to Macklemore: "MY ALBUM IS HIP HOP. HIP HOP WOULDN'T BE HIP HOP WITHOUT ME. COMPTON IS HIP HOP. SEATTLE IS NOT HIP HOP." - Kendrick "The King" Lamar, 2014

Brought along Amber Galloway-Gallego: Have you seen videos of her? Have you been fortunate enough to see her live? This sign language interpreter is just as entertaining as the artists she accompanies. Speaking of Amber, she should've gotten an award from the Grammys.

Do a 10-minute long a capella freestyle: With one of his hands free, Kendrick requests Imagine Dragon to quiet down. They can barely be heard but Kendrick wants absolute silence. He gets it, and out comes ...

Lance Bass On Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ Grammy Performance: ‘History Was Made’

There was plenty of pre-show hype surrounding Macklemore & Ryan Lewis's performance of "Same Love" at Sunday night's Grammy Awards, and, as it turned out, it was justified.

Because after the dynamic duo helped 33 couples of all genders, races and orientations say "I do" — with Queen Latifah and Madonna helping officiate — it was clear that their performance went beyond the mere act of promoting a single. Instead, it was the rare instance of protest done right at an awards show; a powerful, poignant piece of social commentary that may also end up going down as one of the most memorable moments in Grammy history.

And for an member of the music community like former 'NSync star Lance Bass, "Same Love" was unquestionably the highlight of the night.

"I thought it was amazing, history was definitely made. The Grammys are one of the biggest stages in the world, and to make such a statement, it was incredible, " Bass told MTV News following the Grammys. "Everyone around the world was watching, and it was exactly the message people needed to see: that love is love."

Bass, who, along with his fiancé, Michael Turchin, is incredibly active in the battle for marriage equality, said that he's happy to count Macklemore & Ryan Lewis as allies in the cause. To say nothing of the stars in attendance at Staples Center who helped make "Same Love" a celebration of unity above all else.

"We've definitely reached a point in society where marriage equality isn't controversial anymore, and anyone who thinks it ...

Too Much Homework To Catch A Concert? This Guy Will Do It For You

Hey teens: Want to go to a show, but have so math homework your soul is fixing to die? Well show curator/promoter/manager Jordan Michael Iannucci can help you out with your fractions and whatnot — just send him a text before school's out and he'll do your homework for you in exchange for your face in the audience of one of his shows.

"I am a super-serious man, and obviously this is a joke, but it is a joke I will commit to far past doing homework," Iannucci told MTV News. "With that said, there is no formal offer. You in high school? Have homework? I'll do it, I guess. Text me, or something: 845-418-4508. We'll figure it out."

Iannucci — who books shows around the East Coast featuring upcoming bands like Big Ups, Helado Negro and Shark? — operates within the DIY, all-ages scene. Translation: You don't have to be over 21 to attend a show. As his Wu-Tang referencing website says: his shows are "4 the children."

Iannucci first came up with the homework idea while living with his parents in Orange County, New York. "My crib was literally in the same spot I am sitting in right now," Iannucci said. "I hated growing up and had no friends. My father has cancer, so I have spent the better part of a year taking care of him and commuting into the city for my shows."

Living at home put Iannucci right back into mindset of being young, and he started thinking about the trials and ...
