Waka Flocka Flame Hired Seth Rogen As His Full-Time Blunt Roller

by 34 mins ago

Waka Flocka Flame nearly broke the Internet Monday (September 15) when he took to Instagram to offer a $50,000 per year salary for someone to join his staff as a fulltime “blunt roller.”

Not surprisingly, thousands of applicants sent in their blunt rolling resumes for consideration, including the very high-profile candidate Seth Rogen.

After a series of grueling interviews, it looks like the Canadian actor won the coveted roll (pun intended, of course).

Today, to celebrate Rogen’s first day on the job, the Brick Squad rapper posted a photo of himself superimposed over James Franco’s face in a still from his new employee’s weed-friendly movie, “Pineapple Express.”

Congratulations on the new job, Seth!

We can’t wait to see what the next open position on Waka’s staff will be.

But just in case the blunt roller position is ever open again, Redman once infamously provided a “Blunt Rolling 101″ tutorial.

Listen To Jamie Foxx ‘Turn Up’ On His First New Single In 4 Years, ‘Party Ain’t A Party’

by 5 mins ago

Jamie Foxx makes his musical return after a four-year hiatus with the new 2 Chainz-assisted single, “Party Ain’t A Party.”

The DJ Mustard-produced track begins with an opening salvo from Tity Two Necklaces.

“Do not disturb sign on the door, need to record so I got a camcorder/I’m playing Pandora I might break her aorta,” he raps.

In keeping with the song’s title, the Oscar-winning sings about all the accoutrements associated with the proper turn-up: models, bottles and diamond-encrusted jewels.

“VIP wherever we at, tomorrow night we might relapse, so back that ass up like Juve, cause you already know I need that,” he sings with just the right amount of bravado.

During his promo run for “The Amazing Spider-Man 2″ earlier this year, the triple threat entertainer told MTV News that he was already working on his new album.

“I’m working on some music now,” Foxx said. “I just did a song with Pharrell called ‘Tease.’”

Kim Kardashian Says Kanye’s Australian Concert Was Ruined By ‘Lies In The Media’

by 20 mins ago

Kim Kardashian-West proved once again that she’s unequivocally Kanye West’s ride-or-die chick.

The reality superstar took to Instagram Monday (September 15) to post her thoughts about the Brisbane, Australia, stop of her hubby’s Yeezus Tour Sunday night, and insisted that fan-made videos on the ‘Net clear him of any wrongdoing in the wheelchair-bound fans incident. The Chicago rapper was accused of insensitivity for allegedly asking handicapped concertgoers to stand during his performance.

“What an amazing Australian tour! Its frustrating that something so awesome could be clouded by lies in the media. Kanye never asked anyone in a wheel chair to stand up & the audience videos show that. He asked for everyone to stand up & dance UNLESS they were in a wheel chair. #JustWantedEveryoneToHaveAFunNight #TheMediaTwistsThings,” she wrote in the caption.

No matter what you think of the KimYe marriage, you can’t help but admire her willingness to stand by her man. And a fan-shot video of the incident seems to back up Kim’s account of what went down.

The “I Am a God” MC initially came under fire for asking everyone in the audience — including two wheelchair-bound fans — at his concert to stand up before he would continue performing “Good Life.” But he can be heard making an exception for the disabled fans in the footage.

“I can’t do the rest of this show until everybody stand up,” Kanye said. “And I’mma see you if you ain’t standing’ up … if he’s in a wheelchair then it’s fine ...

The Strange Mystery Of Rapper Tim Dog’s (Possibly Faked) Death Has Been Solved

by 19 mins ago

Sometimes, reality really is stranger than fiction. A judge in Mississippi issued an arrest warrant for Tim Dog last year, after DeSoto County, Mississippi, prosecutors charged that the rapper had faked his own death to avoid making court-mandated payments.

Well, turns out that the Bronx, New York, MC (born Timothy Blair) really was deceased. According to NBC’s Dateline, Blair died on February 14, 2013, at Hospice Atlanta and his death records were filed in Dekalb County, Georgia. Prosecutors had cited the lack of a death certificate in their case.

“I need proof. I need a death certificate showing that he’s dead, because as far as I’m concerned, he’s alive,” Steven Jubera told Memphis news channel 3 WREG in May 2013. “Nobody said where he died, nobody said where he was buried, which is very odd for an obituary.”

But the rapper couldn’t afford his own funeral, so the county paid for him to be cremated.

Blair’s death certificate was obtained by Dateline from the Dekalb County Board of Health.

A DeSoto County judge issued the warrant for Blair last May because there was no record of Blair’s death certificate in Fairburn, Georgia, nor Decatur, Georgia, where the “F—k Compton” MC was believed to have lived.

Tim Dog is probably best known for his role in an infamous rap battle with West Coast rivals Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg. His dis record, “F–k Compton,” was aimed at the members of N.W.A. Dre and Snoop clapped back at the Bronx ...

Watch Wendy Williams Literally Eat Crow For Doubting Kim And Kanye’s Marriage

by 20 mins ago

Normally, when someone says that they’ll “eat crow,” it just means that they’ll show some humility and openly admit to being wrong about something they said.

Not Wendy Williams. The talk show host literally ate some crow live in front of her studio audience Monday (September 15) because Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s marriage made it past 72 days and is still going strong.

Dressed in a crow bib, Williams sat down at the dinner table on stage and dug into the crow gumbo, which was prepared by a gourmet chef, with a fork and a glass of Napa pinot noir.

“I can taste the iron in it,” she said, while chewing the black bird meat laboriously. “Well, they say that a crow has more iron than anything and it tastes kind of like chicken liver. You know it’s not so bad and I forgot to use the hot sauce. There you go, I’m a woman of my word.”

Her word, was a promise to eat crow if KimYe’s marriage lasted longer than 72 days. That number has significance because that’s how long the reality star was married to her previous husband, Kris Humphries.

Despite eating a heaping helping of crow, Williams may not have learned her lesson — at least when it comes to Kim and Kanye. “Just cause they’re still married doesn’t mean they’re happy,” she said, while still chewing crow. “We’re watching you for the next 73 days Kardashian West.”

James Franco Is Planning An Epic ‘Rant’ For The Big Screen

by 1 min ago

Looks like James Franco’s cooking up another epic rant.

Don’t worry; this won’t be of the expletive-filled Twitter variety.

The multi-faceted actor confirmed on Instagram Thursday (September 11) night that he’s developing a movie based on Chuck Palaniuk’s novel “Rant.”

“ME AND CHUCK PALAHNIUK!!!!!!!!!!!!! and my homegirl, @pamromanowski!!!!!,” he wrote in the caption next to a picture of Palaniuk’s 2007 novel and a deranged, smiley headshot of himself.

And just to quell any concerns that the “Sausage Party” actor’s talking out of his head, the “Fight Club” writer himself corroborated the report.

“Rant” is the childhood nickname of the story’s protagonist Buster, who grew up in the rural town of Middleton, where he loved to get bitten by rabid animals, snakes and spiders. Buster later moves to an urban area where residents hail from two factions: Daytimers and Nighttimers.

Currently, Franco is working on an adaptation of Steve Erickson’s novel Zeroville.

Sean affirmed this himself by tweeting his happiness to be with the Roc family, but emphasizing “And we still GOOD.”

And, looks like we’ll be getting some new music to celebrate the deal.

As if that wasn’t enough, New York fans will also get the chance to catch the Detroit rapper at a pop-up shop tomorrow.

The Roc’s new addition fills a big void left by Wale, who left two weeks ago to join LeBron James’ 77 Management Group.

A Teen Superhero Show Might Be Coming To TNT

by 14 mins ago

Teen super heroes are about to take TNT by storm.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the latest comic classic to go live action might be DC Comics “Titans.” Warner Bros., who owns DC Comics, is in talks with TNT to run the series. The two parties are reportedly close to a deal for the pilot, which would star Batman’s longtime sidekick Dick Grayson. Both WB and TNT are, of course, owned by parent company Time Warner, so the pairing makes perfect sense.

“Titans” had a stint back in the early 2000s as an animated series on The WB, and Cartoon Network still airs an animated take on the series called “Teen Titans Go!” However, this reboot would aim to take the teen concept to a more adult place.

The Teen Titans first showed up in 1964 as sidekicks for the Justice League, but the show would lean more toward the 1980′s comic “New Titans” that emphasized a mid-twenties Robin figure morphing into Nightwing.

The inaugural episode would explore how Grayson “emerges from the shadow of Batman to become Nightwing, the leader of a fearless band of new Super Heroes including Starfire, Raven and many others.”

Writer Akiva Goldsman (“I Am Legend”) has been tapped to pen and executive produce along with Warner Horizon Television. Goldsman was previously attached to a Warner Bros. “Teen Titans” movie that never came to fruition.

If “Titans” gets the green light, it will join DC Comics’ legion of hero shows, which includes The CW’s “Arrow” the Read More →

The ‘Finding Nemo’ Sequel Will Include An Unexpected ‘The Wire’ Reunion

by 1 min ago

Can you even imagine Springer Bell and McNutty in a Disney movie together?

Well, you’ll have to wrap your head around the idea because it’s happening.

According to ShortList, Idris Elba and Dominic West, the two standout stars of HBO’s seminal original series “The Wire” will reunite on the big screen as voice-over actors for “Finding Dory,” the highly-anticipated sequel to “Finding Nemo.”

“I saw Idris recently,” West told ShortList. “We’re both in the sequel to ‘Finding Nemo,’ so we were recording that. I’m in pretty regular contact with a lot of guys from ‘The Wire’ – a lot of them are godparents to my kids, so I love them dearly.”

So instead of the mean streets of Baltimore, these two iconic characters will take on the high seas.

The animated film will also feature the voices of Albert Brooks, Diane Keaton, Willem Dafoe and the reigning Queen of Daytime talk, Ellen DeGeneres.
