Did you catch all of Charli XCX‘s looks at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards? No? Well come along with me on this journey.

Charli arrived on the red carpet in a yellow Moschino by Jeremy Scott tiger-print jumpsuit, which she accessorized with a Vivienne Westwood clutch and Nicholas Kirkwood shoes. We’re really into the tie-detail on her shoulder. It’s kind of sweet, and in no way diminishes the fact that Charli was wearing a tiger-print jumpsuit on the runway.

Jeremy Scott loves it, too. (Of course.)

As much as we loved Charli’s jumpsuit, we had to say goodbye as she changed into her performance outfit for “Boom Clap” for the VMA preshow. What is this Cher Horowitz realness? Let’s examine this real quick: Homegirl was wearing a sheer white top with white daisies embroidered on them with a baby-blue miniskirt, and white duster with a feather trim.

Now that the 2014 Video Music Awards is wrapped up, let’s take a look at all of the ‘fits that Gwen Stefani has rocked at the VMAs. If you’re doubting my credentials, just know that I am a card-carrying member of the Tragic Kingdom, and you’re in good hands. Let’s go!

1996: JUST A GIRL

Gwen’s first appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards were in 1996 with, you know, her band No Doubt, I’m sure you’ve heard of them. I kid. Our girl Gwen showed up in some seriously shiny pants, a midriff-baring gold top, and a black cardigan with fur trim. Welcome to the VMAs, Gwen.

1997: OI TO THE WORLD

Gwen went for comfy casual at the 1997 MTV Video Music Awards. The platinum powerhouse wore a silver shell over a sheer Indian-inspired cover up (peep that gold threading), trousers and slip-on slides. This particular outfit was clearly on the heels of the “Oi To The World” video shoot. The best part? Gwen’s makeup. You’ll see this same look resurface later in 2000 in No Doubt’s “New” video. Trust me.

Jeezy has been arrested and is being held on $1 million bail, according to a report by TMZ.

The rapper, who is currently on tour with Wiz Khalifa, was reportedly arrested after an assault rifle was found on his tour bus. The search followed a shooting backstage at an Under the Influence tour stop in Mountain View, California on Friday, where one person was killed. The next night’s show, also in California, in turn, was cancelled.

The report says that Jeezy was not the only person arrested, and that he’s currently being held on $1 million bail.

His new album, Seen It All, is scheduled to drop September 2.

Aaron Paul, also known as Jesse Pinkman on “Breaking Bad,” has long since cemented himself as an actor for the people. Famous for stunts like picking up fans in an RV with his wife (and cooking them dinner) for the show’s series finale, as well as creating a screening ticket scavenger hunt for fans from his own Idaho hometown, there’s no doubt about it — Pinkman can’t be beat.

So, what else is there to do for Paul but to constantly do his best to break his own awesomeness record? Nothing, that’s what. On August 25, Paul spent his Emmy Monday — he’s nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor — focusing on not himself, but his fans. And it was glorious. Here’s how it all went down:

First, Aaron broke breakfast with a special surprise.

Fans were given a chance to eat breaky with Flynn (RJ Mitte), the world’s number one enthusiast for the most important meal of the day. The winners got autographed breakfast cereal, which they will hopefully never eat.

Next, Aaron took some time for himself.

The king watches over his kingdom (the valley, probably.)

Then Aaron gave his stalkers a moment in the sun.

“These girls were caught cheating by camping outside my place,” Paul wrote. “Sorry ladies. No win for you.”

(Pssst… Aaron… those were the same girls from the breakfast photo…)

Aaron’s next move was to risk lives by involving The Cousins.

(Looks like everything turned out okay.)

Then he brought Badger into it.

By now you’ve likely dissected every aspect of Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda” video. You know, for research purposes, of course. But one point you may still be scrutinizing is whether Nicki’s bouncy lap dance made Drake, how do we put this delicately?… rise to the occasion.

MTV News’ Rob Markman caught up with Nicki Minaj backstage at the VMAs after her “Anaconda” performance” and found out whether or not the Best Hip-Hop Video winner was able to contain his, ahem, excitement, during Minaj’s vigorous chair session.

“Drake, you know… he’s an actor,” Nicki said, with a serious eye roll “So he did a good job of containing himself. But after the lap dance he was excited like hell. He was like, ‘Yo, do you understand like I’m the man after this video come out?’”

Nicki said it’s always fun to do stuff like that with Drizzy because of their close relationship. But just so we’re on the same page, when she says “excited” she means, like, EXCITED, right? Like, in the groinal region?

“I think a little bit of both,” she said.

On Sunday night, we found out that Eminem has plans to drop his new album, Shady XV, this November. And if his latest release, “Guts Over Fear,” featuring Sia, is any indication, the legendary MC will again be proving why he’s one of the greatest.

The uplifting, anthemic song finds Em preaching confidence and positivity for others, while also reflecting on his own career.

“Sometimes I feel like all I ever do is/ Find different ways to word the same old song,” he raps to open the track, before leaving that sort of uncertainty behind as it goes on.

“So this is for every kid who all they ever did was dreamt of one day just getting accepted/ I represent him or her, anyone similar, you are the reason that I made this song/ Everything you’re scared to say don’t be afraid to say no more.”

The track will be included in the upcoming film “The Equalizer,” starring Denzel Washington, and is available on iTunes now.

Shady XV, set to drop on Black Friday, will be a two-disc release. One will include the greatest hits from Shady Records, which is celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2014, as well as an album of new material from Em.

It’s not enough for Beyonce to bless us with what might be the most memorable VMAs closer ever. It’s not enough for her to get Nicki Minaj on the “Flawless” remix and subtly address the Solange/elevator incident. No, she has to take it a step further and show the kind of gracious benevolence that we mortal beings usually associate with divine beings.

Since the VMAs were practically a Beyonce-Nicki show last night, it’s no surprise that the two had a backstage moment of their own, but we didn’t know how flawless it was until now. Nicki took to her Instagram to post a photo of the diamond necklace that Beyonce came into her dressing room to deliver last night.

Yes, imagine, Beyonce coming into your dressing room to deliver a necklace made of diamonds that declares you are flawless… Anyone else fainting from the sheer magnificence of this moment yet?? If only we could’ve seen Nicki’s face the moment this all went down. She wrote a heartfelt response along with the above photo of the necklace.

On Sunday night, Ed Sheeran won Best Male Video for “Sing” at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards, although he’s pretty sure that it isn’t one of his best visuals to date. No worries though, because he’s learning some new tricks for an upcoming video. And by “some tricks,” I mean that he’s learning to booty clap.

Shortly before he accepted the moonman for “Sing,” Ed strolled the VMA red carpet with video director Emil Nava, and explained why he was a bit surprised to receive that nomination.

“We actually we had about 15 different plans for it originally, and the last idea was an amalgamation of all of them,” he told MTV News. “We’ve made around seven or eight videos together and it’s a good video, but I wouldn’t say it’s one of our best.”

So what’s in store next? He’s already banked a video for “Don’t” and then he’s got something special in store for “Thinking Out Loud.”

“I’m learning how to booty clap,” Ed revealed, admitting he still has a lot of work to do. “[So far] I can squat and that’s about it.”

His director sounded pretty sure that he could figure out the rest though. “He’s got a dancer going on tour with him everyday, teaching him how to booty clap.”
